About the Event
A meaningful and memorable 4-mile run on July 4th where all proceeds directly benefit Believe With Me's families of fallen soldiers! Be a part of a beautiful, impactful celebration of our independence and freedoms and to honor the the families that have paid for all of it with the sacrifice of their loved ones.
Your generosity towards this cause will help Believe With Me purchase Christmas gifts for more than 2,500 children of fallen soldiers! Your participation and generosity will light up young lives this holiday season—especially with our special "Christmas in July" toy drive! This race is HOSTED by the nonprofit Believe With Me, as opposed to a race company giving a small portion to our charity.
Run with purpose. Honor the fallen. Celebrate the freedom that came at the highest cost.
Join fellow runners on July 4, 2026 for the Freedom 4 Miler TEQUESTA. It's a fantastic 6.4K, 1.6K featuring a flat and fast course in Tequesta.

4 Miler Run/Walk
Race begins on Dover Road in Tequesta, directly BEHIND Tequesta First Baptist Church. After Party takes place in Constitution Park, including complimentary pancakes and Bolay Food, Tiny Cadet Cupcake Dash, auction and awards ceremony! ALL PROCEEDS benefit Families of Fallen Soldiers. Each mile named after a local fallen hero and all along the way there are props, signs, food snacks and music to let the racers get to know more about the soldier we are honoring for that mile! It is an incredibly memorable and moving event. The families of the fallen heroes are in attendance and at the finish line! THIS RACE RAISES MONEY FOR BelieveWithMe.com's Gold Star Christmas project that provides Christmas gifts for 2,500 children of fallen soldiers. As part of our "Christmas in July," please consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy to the race. Freedom 4-Miler Race Options & Details: 4 MILE COURSE: Opening Ceremony begins at 7:00am with Race Start at 7:15am Chip timed through the beautiful Village of Tequesta and Tequesta Country Club Short sleeve Sport Tek t-shirt for the first 800 racers Custom Finisher's Medal for the first 800 finishers Overall Male/Female winners and Masters Male/Female win an Engel Cooler. Age Group Awards: Custom Engel tumblers 3 deep in five year age groups from 14 and Under to over 80 and up age group awards (valued at $30 each)

4 Miler - Ruck Division Tequesta
Adult 1 Mile Fun Run
This race is open to ADULTS ONLY. No children. Every entrant will get a race number, finishing medal, and a short sleeve Sport tec shirt (First 1200 registered only). Race starts at the Freedom 4 Miler start line and is an out and back course.
Little Patriot's 1 Mile Run
This race is open to children ages 12 and under ONLY. No adults. Every child will get a race number, finisher medal, and a short sleeve Sport tek shirt (first 1200 overall race registrants only). Race starts at the Freedom 4 Miler start line and is an out and back course.
Virtual Race 4 Miler
Do your race -- ANYWHERE, ANYTIME! Bring hope and help to America's Gold Star Families, even if you can't be at our race in Tequesta! Get your short sleeve sport tek shirt, finisher's medal, and race bib. Not chipped, not timed, not eligible for awards or placement in live race results.
