VIRTUAL-9th Annual Freedom 5K in memory of Spc. Robert Friese and all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice

After much consideration it is with a heavy heart to announce that we have no choice but to move our 9th Annual Freedom 5K race to a virtual one, where times can be submitted by participants online. This is to be in compliance with CDC Recommendations, due to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you, It is a great disappointment for us. We would like to ask you to consider that In the midst of such an unprecedented time, one thing that is for certain is that we have an opportunity to still come together for a cause-to remember a local young man and all others, who have given the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms that we continue to enjoy. All registrants will be able to post their virtual run/walk times on the Results Page between April 18 and April 25 at 6 PM.  If you have not registered for the 5K yet, you can still register online until April 25 to be a part of this event. We plan to mail your race packets and shirts to the address you provided when you registered.  Top finisher medals will also be mailed.  The deadline to post times will be April 25 at 6 PM.   Even though we cant gather together, we look forward to seeing you participate in our 9th Annual (virtual) 5K. Let’s make this fun and encourage one another to prepare and participate for our event regardless.
