Freedom Backyard Ultra Marathon
About this race
What is a Backyard Ultra?
A Backyard Ultra is the ultimate test of human endurance. Every hour, on the hour, runners must complete a 4.16-mile loop. Miss the start of any loop, and you're out.
The race continues until only one runner remains. There are no time limits, no predetermined distances—just pure mental and physical determination against the clock and your fellow competitors.
At the Freedom Backyard Ultra, runners will tackle Missouri's rugged terrain through open fields, dense woods, creek crossings, and challenging hills. This is not just a race—it's a battle of wills.
