💜Join Us for the Freedom Run/Walk – A Celebration of Strength, Hope & Seizure Freedom!
The Epilepsy Foundation of Hawai‘i’s annual Freedom Run/Walk brings together families, friends, and community members to raise awareness and support those impacted by epilepsy.
Freedom means freedom from stigma and fear around seizures — and we’re running (and walking!) together for a more informed, inclusive Hawai‘i.
Join fellow runners on July 4, 2025 for the Freedom Run for Epilepsy Awareness. It's a fantastic 5K, 10K, 1.6K featuring a flat and fast course in Kailua.

🐾 Animal Lovers, We See You! The Freedom Run celebrates community, movement — and yes, we love animals too! While we’d love to welcome your furry companions right to the starting line, our host location (a school campus) has a strict no-pets policy — and signs to prove it! 🐶🚫 But don’t worry! We’ve created a special sign-in and cheering area just down the way for your beloved pets and their loyal humans. Bring your leashed dogs, fancy strollers for cats (we’ve seen it!), or even a pic of your favorite pet to keep the spirit alive. Let’s honor the rules and the fun — because no one gets left behind, not even our four-legged friends. 🐕💜
