About the Event

Oconee County’s signature America 250 celebration takes over Thomas Farm with a full day of fun, fitness, and community pride. The day begins with a 5K at 8 a.m., followed by the park opening at 4 p.m. with food vendors, a kid's zone, periodic fashion shows, and family-friendly activities throughout the evening.
Live music begins at 6:30 p.m. and leads into a stunning drone show at 9 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, dress in your red, white, and blue, and join us for an unforgettable America 250 celebration.

Join fellow runners on July 3, 2026 for the Freedom Trail 5K. It's a fantastic 5.1K featuring a flat and fast course in Watkinsville.
