Let Justice Roll 5K Run/Walk - Hampton, VA
We're going virtual with our race this year! COVID-19 may have prevented us from gathering at the Mariners' Museum Park for this year's race, but it can't prevent us from participating remotely. Here’s how it will work: • On Saturday, April 25th, between 8:00 am and 10:00 am, we encourage you (and no more than a few friends or family members!) to walk or run 3.1 miles at a place of your choosing. This includes your neighborhood, any open parks, or even on a treadmill! • On your honor, you will be able to enter your finish time and upload an image of your Fitbit or other step-counting device and any images from your run/walk, at vbji.org/5k. • We will post the results on our website, so you can still have the option for bragging rights. For those who prefer not to post your time, you can simply confirm that you completed the 3.1-mile walk or run. • We encourage you to post your photos to our Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as your own social channels. Don't forget to tag us and include #letjusticeroll • While we won’t be awarding medals this year, all those who submit their time or post that they finished the race will get an official race t-shirt! Be sure to include your complete mailing address to get your swag. • Finally, if you are unable to participate in the virtual 5k, you can STILL be a part of Let Justice Roll 2020 by creating an online fundraiser. If you haven’t already done so, please go to vbji.org/5k and click the “Create a Fundraiser” button. All proceeds will go directly to Virginia Beach Justice Initiative to fund education and prevention projects, victim services, and continuing efforts to end human-trafficking in Hampton Roads.
