Location Alert! We have not received our permit from the National Park Service to use the Chestnut Ridge Loop Trail but have confirmed a secondary location at New London Tech Park. For the time being we are still going to wait until we get confirmation from the NPS for the usual Frozen Toe location and will make a final decision once we know for sure. Until then, be aware that the location can be in either location. Usual race info; The Chestnut Ridge Loop Trail is a 5.6 mile challenging single track trail that loops around the Roanoke Mountain Campground. This is a great trail with a little bit of everything. It is a fast and flowy trail that holds up well to the winter weather and is perfect for a January trail event. Start the year off right and run the Frozen Toe 10k. The race has a 250 entrant limit and will fill up. Sign up fast! I-581 turns into HWY 220 South. Just after the Outback Steakhouse take a left onto Old Rocky Mount Road (State Route 789). You will be on this for about .8 miles and the New Hope Christian Church will be on your Left.

Frozen Toe 10k Virtual Run
Our Virtual events are setup for you to be a part of the series without having to be present since there are so many layers to the Covid era of activities. This is a run anywhere option, that counts as one of the RNUTS qualifying races. In addition, you will get the race hoodie until 12/15/20, after that, all registrants will get a Mountain Junkies LLC Hoo Rag (similar to a Buff).
