About the Event
A beautiful, local 2.3 mile fun run & walk of the Washington Park loop with proceeds fully supporting Anacortes Schools Foundation.
Join fellow runners on June 29, 2026 for the Fueling Education Fun Run & Walk. It's a fantastic 3.7K, 0.5K featuring a flat and fast course in Anacortes.

Virtual Race
You are invited to complete 2.3 miles anywhere of your choosing Registration Fee - Virtual Run: $10 per person As with the in-person race, if you want a T-shirt guaranteed in your size, you must sign up by September 1st. You can sign up and complete your miles at any time before September 14th at 11:59AM. You don’t need to submit a time or proof, we trust you! There will be one key difference regarding T-Shirt Logistics Options on Sign Up Upon registration, you will be given two choices No T-Shirt Requested – Great Karma! T-Shirt (mail) – Mail my t-shirt to my mailing address. Please note there will be an additional $5 charge at sign up to cover the postage and logistics.
2.3 Mile Fun Run and Walk
The course will be clearly marked with plenty of volunteers to ensure you only run the desired distance 8:30 am - Race Check-In Opens 10:00 am – Fun Run (2.3 miles loop) 11:00 am – Awards Ceremony
Kids Race
Registration Fee - Kids Race: $5 per person The route will be completely blocked for safety Your kids will always be within eyesight! 8:30 am - Race Check-In Opens 9:30 am – Kids Race (1/3 mile loop) Note that the kid’s race is split into 4 age groups 4 and Under 5-6 years old 7-8 years old 9-10 years old
