Funky Bunch Invite
About this race
Lace up and get ready for a race day you won’t want to miss! Join us on June 27th at Schon Park in Glen Carbon, Illinois for the Funky Bunch Invite — a high-energy 3-mile road race welcoming runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just out to enjoy the vibe, this is your chance to be part of something special.
Grab your crew and sign up as a team — the more creative, the better! Costumes, themes, and team spirit are highly encouraged, so bring the fun and make it unforgettable. The course winds through the scenic beauty of Schon Park, combining road and grass terrain for a dynamic, exciting challenge that keeps every step interesting for both first-timers and seasoned racers.
And the best part? Every stride you take supports a greater cause — proceeds from the event will be donated to displaced military heroes, helping those who have sacrificed so much.
After you cross the finish line, the celebration is just getting started. Stick around for a full day of festivities featuring local vendors, lawn games, and friendly competition like cornhole, spikeball, volleyball, and more.
Run hard, give back, and celebrate big — come for the race, stay for the party, and register today!
