About this race
We are excited to offer another year of this instant classic gravel event!
Garden City Gravel will take you through the same course as years past. Headquartered in the 9 Mile Valley, west of Missoula, this route shows you the best of our gravel riding. New for this year we have separate start times for different groups. Also, we are proud to offer a paracyclist category. All age group and category podiums run across the different start times and top 3 will be honored in each. For example if you are in the 50-59 category you can get in the top 3 regardless of your start group. The podiums are based on your ride time, not your relative finish within your ride group.

A beautiful 40 Mile gravel course for folks to train or try their hand at a gravel event. Two laps on the course!

55 mile ride west of Missoula in the 9 Mile Ranger District. This category is for those looking to ride with the fastest riders and push themselves to a fast time.
Garden City Gravel - B Group (Med. 15-21mph) - 8:30AM
55 mile ride west of Missoula in the 9 Mile Ranger District. This category is for those looking for a long fondo-type ride, but continue to move efficiently through the course.
Garden City Gravel - C Group (Friends 12-18mph) - 8AM
55 mile ride west of Missoula in the 9 Mile Ranger District. This category is for those looking for a recreational group ride vibe with pushing themselves to finish the distance or have a slower roll out.
Garden City Gravel - Paracyclist - 8:30AM
55 mile ride west of Missoula in the 9 Mile Ranger District. This category is for paracyclists.
Garden City Gravel - Junior 18 and under - 8:30AM
55 mile ride west of Missoula in the 9 Mile Ranger District. This category is for under 18 riders. Two ride guides will stay at the front and the rear of this group. Parents also can ride with their junior for free and won't be in the results.
