About this race
Join us for a marathon, half marathon, 10k, or munchkin run through the beautiful streets and trails of Olathe. This year marks the 23rd anniversary of the event, which began in 2003 as the Olathe Marathon, and is now hosted by Garmin at their world headquarters. The city of Olathe is just 20 minutes southwest of downtown Kansas City, located in Johnson County, Kansas. Come experience our Midwest charm in the Land of Oz!
Join fellow runners on April 23, 2022 for the Garmin Olathe Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K in the land of Oz. It's a fantastic Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10K, 1.9K, Senior Walk, Virtual Marathon, Virtual half marathon featuring a flat and fast course in Olathe.

Munchkin Run - This Event Is Sold Out
Families are able to train together for this event! Kindergarten through 8th grade participants will track 25 miles on their very own Munchkin Marathon tracking sheet. On race day families will start right after the marathon, half marathon and 10K races, and run on the same course as the adults the final 1.2 mile. Parents, family or guardians can register for $5 and run for with the registered child, too!

Senior Walk
Following the start of the marathon, half marathon and 10K, our registered walkers will make their way around the gorgeous Garmin World Headquarters and finish just around the corner from the start/finish line of the Garmin Olathe Marathon. The start time is set for 9:30 a.m. The one-mile course gives those 65 and older an opportunity to join in on the Garmin Olathe Marathon fun and is yet another way for them to stay active. Registrants will receive a T-shirt, race bib and medal for their efforts. All for just $20.
