About the Event
Why Novan's Pride
In keeping with our mission, we believe the road race is more than just a race, it's about bringing community together and sharing wellness. We want to support the Woonsocket High School Athletes and continue the direction and dreams of George Nasuti. The Friends of George Nasuti want to give something back. Every dollar of profit from the George Nasuti Novans Pride 5k Run will be donated to the Woonsocket Athletic Department.
If you wish to make an extra contribution you can do so as part of the race registration process. Every dollar of extra monies donated will be given to the Woonsocket Athletic Department. George Nasuti Novans Pride 5k a fundraiser for the Woonsocket Villa Novans Athletic Department. George was a true Novan, a coach, an educator, administrator and athletic director and a huge heart for Woonsocket.

Course Description
Runners gather at Leo A. Savoie School at 7:45, race starts and finishes at corner of Elder Ballou Meeting House Road and Conrad Street. The course is a well marked, USTAF certified, 5k loop on City roads , with mile markers and one water stop. Race is professionally timed.

Bib Pick Up Dates
Bib Pick up will occur at Leo Savoie Elementary School located at 990 Mendon Road, Woonsocket, RI US 02895 on Saturday May 23 between 7am - 11am and on race morning at Leo A. Savoie school starting 7:00.
Join fellow runners on May 25, 2026 for the George Nasuti Novans Pride 5k. It's a fantastic 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Woonsocket.
