Glen Elder Fun Run - Best Dam Run in Kansas!
About this race
Pre-Register by June 19, 2026 to guarantee a T-shirt. Welcome to Glen Elder, Kansas and Waconda Lake. This event takes participants across the dam on either a 2-mile walk or a 2 or 5-mile run. Join us and support the activities of the Glen Elder Lions Club. Be sure to stay for the Lakefest activities at our beautiful Waconda Lake on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
Meet on the square in downtown Glen Elder at 6:30 am for registration and packet pick-up. Event starts at 7:00 am.

Come to the "Best Dam Run in Kansas". This run takes you across the dam at Waconda Lake. Great morning views of Waconda Lake and Glen Elder await participants on the 5 mile run over the Glen Elder Dam and back to the Glen Elder downtown square. Register by June 20, 2023 to guarantee a T-shirt.
