Locust's Second Annual-Turkey Trot 5-K!
For years, many of us have made memories at the Albemarle Turkey Trot-now it's time start our own tradition right here at home!
Join us for the Gobble Gobble 5K on Thanksgiving morning at 8:00am, starting from the Locust Town Center. This free, family-friendly run/walk follows the same fun route as the Locust Elfie 5K-perfect for runners, walkers and anyone ready to earn that extra slice of pie! In 2025 we had 387 registered participants for the event and donated over $1200 to the SCCM Community Table.
With the Elfie run just a week after, it will be a great practice run for the main event!
Bring your friends, your family and your best turkey hats-let's make this a new Locust tradition!
Join fellow runners on November 26, 2026 for the Gobble Gobble 5K. It's a fantastic 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Locust.
