The Gobbler Grind Marathon, one of Kansas’ oldest marathon. An enduring tradition in the heart of Johnson County, Kansas for nearly three decades that connects Kansas and Missouri running communities together.
Now in it's 33rd year, this historic road race, held on the Sunday before Thanksgiving each year, is the Kansas Marathon you don’t want to miss, drawing runners and fitness enthusiasts from all corners.
Join us at the Gobbler Grind, on November 22, 2026 where we offer a Boston Qualifying Marathon (also a 50 State Marathon Club Certified Race), Half Marathon, 10K and 5K distances—a celebration of passion, competition, and friendship within the vibrant running community.
