7 mile Walk
Walkers begin at Shelton Valley Christian School after being bussed from registration in downtown Shelton to the start. The course follows a valley of area farms before heading into downtown Shelton via Railroad avenue. The last mile of the course follows the parade route of the Mason County Forest Festival. Parade begins at 11:00 AM. The 7 mile walk is NOT electronically timed. No awards are presented to 7 mile walkers.

Parade begins at 11:00 AM. Electronic chip timing by Peak Performance. Overall winners (male/female) receive a trophy; division age winners receive medal with ribbons to 2nd and 3rd place.
2 Mile Run or Walk
This event is for both runners and walkers beginning at Shelton Valley Christian School after being bussed from registration in downtown Shelton to the start. The course leaves the Shelton Valley directly and heads into downtown Shelton via Railroad avenue. The last mile of the course follows the parade route of the Mason County Forest Festival. Parade begins at 11:00 AM. Electronic chip timing by Peak Performance. Overall winners (male/female) receive a trophy; division age winners receive medal with ribbons to 2nd and 3rd place.
1/4 Mile Junior Jog
This 1/4 mile junior jog event if intended for youngsters under 8 years of age. The walk/jog begins at 7th and Railroad and proceeds to the Post Office Park via Railroad Avenue, site of the Mason County Forest Festival Parade route. All participants receive a medal for their efforts and a commemorative book at the finish line.
