Come together for the grooviest race in Tampa Bay! Events include a 10K and 5K Run, 1-mile Walk, Woof & Roll pet run, and even a Flower Child Fun Run for the young hippies!
The Grooviest excuse to party Race in Tampa Bay is held along Safety Harbor's fun and funky waterfront!
Enjoy free food and a post-race party! The grooviest 1960s music! Vintage VWs on display!
We'll also be hosting costume contests with prizes for best dressed "grown-up" Hippie, Flower Child, and Doggie - so wear your Hippie Threads!
Run like the wind and win most excellent medals, merch, and swag!

Hippie Dash 5K Run
Whether you're competitive or chilled-out, this is the best 5K in Tampa Bay! At least in our humble opinion, man! If you're chill, just get behind the competitive hippies so they can do their thing! Either way, everyone will enjoy this run along downtown Safety Harbor, beginning and ending at the City Marina on a certified course. Walkers and strollers are welcome, but MUST start behind the runners. *Hippie threads highly encouraged!* (Because you might just be groovy enough to win the costume contest!) *Want to run with a team?* Just choose what type - Hippie Friends or Corporate Teams. You can then name your team and invite your friends and/or employees and co-workers to join you! An award will be given to the BIGGEST team.
Run From Home!
Can't make it to Safety Harbor but want to run in support of Goodwill? We've got you covered, man! Just register as a "Run From Home" participant and we will mail you your t-shirt and medal after race day.

Take a laid-back walk through downtown Safety Harbor's beautiful neighborhoods! All 1-mile walkers receive a race t-shirt and medal!
