The GRC Summer Running Program is designed to keep children active during the summer months.  This program is offered for all children ages 14 and under.  There is no fee to participate. The program starts Tuesday, June 2, 2026. It’ll last seven weeks.  Children will keep a log of how many miles they run during the seven weeks.  They will need to set a goal of 13 miles (half marathon) or 26 miles (full marathon).  Each week we will offer a group run to give the kids a chance to run and play together.  They can count the miles they run with the group and miles they run at home as part of the program.  During group runs, children will be required to follow the group leader’s rules.  Please discuss safety with them prior to the runs.  They must follow the rules for their safety and the safety of the group. We will offer an end of the summer awards celebration to honor the kids for all their hard work. 

Group Runs begin Tuesday June 2, 2026.                              All runs will be on Tuesday’s and begin AT 6pm at various locations. 

Like our Facebook page GRC Youth Running Group and our REMIND CLASS @GRCYO There is a chance the location of the run could change.  We will update the GRC Youth Running Group page if there are changes to the group run schedule.  Remember to BRING WATER!
