About the Event

The Greater Binghamton Bridge Run is the largest premier running event in the Greater Binghamton area which includes a USATF certified half marathon and 5k races. The scenic, mostly flat course, crosses over four bridges (Clinton, Court, Tompkins & Washington) and under one (Memorial) where you will have beautiful views of the Susquehanna and Chenango Rivers. It also weaves through Binghamton's Downtown, West and Southsides. With only 100 feet of elevation gain, you don’t want to miss this IN-PERSON, half marathon & 5K running race this spring in Upstate New York.

Half Relay

The Bridge Run Half Marathon Two-Person Relay is a 13.1 mile course - with relay exchange after mile 6 - that weaves through the heart of downtown Binghamton through cultural and historic neighborhoods on the west, and south, sides of Binghamton, across 4 bridges (Clinton, Court, Tompkins and Washington St) and our 2 rivers, including the Susquehanna and Chenango, and under 1 bridge (Memorial). Relay Captain pays one registration fee for both runners. Please note that the Relay participants do not receive a medal.

The BRIDGE RUN 5K is a 3.1 mile course that weaves through the heart of downtown Binghamton through cultural and historic neighborhoods on the west side of Binghamton, and across 2 bridges. NOTE: The 5K Start Time is 9:30 AM to assure that participants have the best Experience possible including more time at the Victory Village Party, Plenty of Food, Cooler Finish Line Experience, Earlier Awards, Great Live Music and the Bridge Run Experience! Please note that the 5K participants do not receive a medal.

The KIDS FUN RUN will run around the outfield track with Rowdy, & Ruby, from the Binghamton Rumble Ponies at 10:45 am. The participants receive a Kids Fun Run Shirt.

Double Challenge (Half Marathon & 5k)

Challenge yourself, get a registration discount, and double your race experience by running both the Half Marathon and 5K! It's 16.2 miles of fun! The HM starts at 7:30 am and the 5K starts at 9:30 am. Sign up for the Double Bridge Run Challenge to earn extra swag. NOTE: The 5K Start Time is 9:30 AM to assure that participants have the best Experience possible including more time at the Victory Village Party, Plenty of Food, Cooler Finish Line Experience, Earlier Awards, Great Live Music and the Bridge Run Experience!
