Delhi, La 71232 The 14th annual Grin & Bear It 5K | 10K | 1/2 Mile Kids Run & NEW! 1/2 Marathon will take place on November 7th at Poverty Point Reservoir in Delhi, Louisiana. We are excited to welcome our community back to the Grin & Bear It Race! Come enjoy this beautiful scenic run. This Race Benefits Delhi Hospital & Clinics' Project Pink.Project Pink is the Delhi Hospital & Clinics program that provides No Cost Mammograms & Breast Cancer Screenings to patients who are uninsured. Without assistance, a 3D Mammogram can cost upwards of $500.00, and leaves many individuals unable to receive this life-saving screening. We believe strongly in accessible breast cancer screenings & hope that you will join us, because Early Detection Saves Lives.
Distances: 5K, 10K, 1/2 Marathon, and ½ Mile Kid’s Fun Run.
All distances will have a Start Chip time and a Finish Chip time only. There are no split times on the course.Time: 6:30 AM - Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup
7:45 AM - ½ Mile Kid’s Fun Run
8:00 AM - 1/2 Marathon Start Time
8:15 AM - 10K Start Time
8:30 AM - 5K Start Time
Post-Race Party: Be sure to stay after the race for refreshments, music & awards presentation!
Registration Fees:
½ Mile Kids Fun Run: All kids 10 & under run free for the 1/2 mile fun run! (t-shirt not included)
5K & 10K: $25 Registration fee
1/2 Marathon: $35 Registration fee
Everyone in the 5K, 10K & 1/2 Marathon will receive a t-shirt with their registration if you register by October 24th.
Register Early! Shirts NOT guaranteed to late registrants (after October 24th)
Extra T-shirts:
Adult t-shirts are $20 and kid's t-shirts are $15. Orders must be placed by October 3rd.
Packet Pickup (Location, Date & Time):
Packet pick-up on Thursday, November 5th from Noon - 4:00 PM & Friday, November 6th from Noon - 4:00 PM in the Delhi Hospital Classroom & at the race site on Saturday, November 7th beginning at 6:30 am.

Medals:
1st, 2nd & 3rd place runners in each age group, Male & Female, 5K,10K, & 1/2 Marathon will receive a medal.
All of the kiddos in the Kids Fun Run will also receive a medal as they cross the finish line!

This event is for children only. Kids ages 1-10 are free at checkout and a T-shirt is not included in free kid registration. You may purchase kids t-shirt thru the store during registration.
5K Run or Walk (3.1 Miles)
All ages are welcome to compete in the 5K Run or Walk. Registrations completed by October 3rd will receive a T-shirt. Late registrants are not guaranteed a shirt.
10K Run or Walk (6.2 Miles)
All ages are welcome to compete in the 10K Run or Walk. Registrations completed by October 3rd will receive a T-shirt. Late registrants are not guaranteed a shirt.
1/2 Marathon (13.1 Miles) Start & End Times Only
Please note that this 1/2 Marathon does not include mile mark times or a halfway time. Registrants will receive a start time & an end time. A tent & photo at the halfway point will ensure all runners complete the entire race. Registrations completed by October 3rd will receive a T-shirt. Late registrants are not guaranteed a shirt.
Student Discount 5K - No T-shirt
This 5K registration is for students only & does not include a T-shirt.
Student Discount 10K - No T-shirt
This 10K registration is for students only & does not include a T-shirt.
