Grow & Walk -A-Thon (Delco)
About this race
The Grow & Walk-A-Thon 5K is coming to a neighborhood near you!
Presented in partnership with Delaware County Parks & Recreation, this all-ages community walk celebrates movement, wellness, and the outdoors.
The Walk-A-Thon is the culminating challenge of Grow & Walk DelCo - a multi-week wellness program that encourages participants to build healthy habits through walking, gardening, yoga, journaling, and other accessible activities.
Whether you've participated all season or you're joining us for the first time, everyone is welcome.
Designed to be approachable rather than competitive, this walkable 5K is perfect for beginners, leisure walkers, families, seniors, and anyone looking to enjoy an active morning in community. Along the route, you'll experience the beauty of eastern Delaware County's parks and green spaces while connecting with neighbors, fellow green thumbs, and wellness enthusiasts.
The event begins and ends at the County Park on Springfield Road with a community celebration and complimentary lunch. A personal trainer will be on-site to guide participants through warm-ups and help make the experience enjoyable for walkers of all ages and abilities.
Come take the final challenge with us—and discover just how fun wellness can be.
