About this race
8th Annual GUMMBALL 5K - In Honor of Fallen Deputy Heath Gumm
The Gummball 5K will be run in honor of our fallen brother, Deputy Heath Gumm.
He paid the ultimate sacrifice on January 24, 2018. Within his five years with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, it’s clear Deputy Gumm touched the lives of not only his colleagues, but the lives of the citizens he served.
Our hope for this year's race is that everyone who supports law enforcement and the legacy of Deputy Gumm can have a chance to get out and run or walk together.
REGISTRATION OPTIONS
$30- Racers 13+ (Shirt guaranteed with entry by September 24, 2025. No shirt/swag bag after this date)
$10- Racers 12 and under (Shirt guaranteed with entry by September 24, 2025. No shirt/swag bag after this date)
Free- Racers 12 and under No registration required - (No shirt/swag bag/bib)

Registration will re-open on October 11, 2025 for DAY OF RACERS.
**In order to keep our race on schedule, please arrive no later than 8:15 for registration. Registration is located under the pavilion.

Adams County Sheriff's Office- Substation Lobby: 4201 E. 72nd Ave. Commerce City, 80022
Packet pick up Friday, October 10, 2025 from 3pm-6pm
If YOU are unable to pickup, please send a fellow racer to get your items.
Shirts/swag bags not picked up at packet pick-up or on race day will be forfeited.

In honor of his adventurous lifestyle and spirit, we are looking to connect with businesses and organizations to help us fund and support the 8th Annual Gummball 5K. If you would like to be a race sponsor, please get in contact with us. We would love to create a partnership with you and your business.
Proceeds from the race are donated to non-profits that support law enforcement/first responders and those whom Heath was a supporter of. The success of the Gummball 5K would not be possible without support from the generous people like you and your organizations. Together we make an impact larger than individual efforts. Lives are touched, our community is strengthened.
A portion of this years race will benefit Blue Line Family Tree and Rocky Mountain Conservancy.
