Named for the host community of Manchester-by-the-Sea, the race provides scenic views. Race through the historic and charming downtown and past the pristine fresh water lakes in nearby Hamilton, MA.

Parking is available near the start/finish line: Manchester-Essex High School 36 Lincoln St Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944 Manchester Elementary School 43 Lincoln St. Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944 Sweeney Park 113 Summer St Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944 Manchester Tennis Courts & Turf Field 38 Norwood Ave Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944 Bib # and race swag pick-up is on race day only from 9:00am – 9:45am. No early birds, please. School is closed - no entry. There will be six aid stations with water near miles 1, 3, 5, 7.5, 9.5 & 11.5. With warmer temperatures, runners are encouraged to carry additional water with their favorite hydration bottle, belt, vest or pack. Sports drink and energy gel will be available on course as well. A portable restroom will be available along the course near mile 3.5 & 9. The roads are open to traffic. The local Police Department will help monitor traffic. PLEASE stay to the side of the road. Bag check is not available. Please plan accordingly. Please read the FAQ for all race details.
