About this race

Get ready to romp! The first annual Romp Run 5K is coming to Skeetawk Ski Area on Saturday, July 11th at 10:00 AM  and we want you there. Co-hosted by Blackwater Railroad Company, Kuuk Water, and Black Wolf Endurance as part of the beloved Hatcher Romp, this inaugural race takes runners through one of Alaska's most stunning alpine landscapes, giving runners of all levels a chance to experience the mountain magic that makes Hatcher Pass special. 

But this isn't just a run, it's a community celebration with real impact. Every registration and dollar raised goes directly to support local youth running teams and the Noatak Cross Country Running Team, investing in the next generation of Alaska's athletes. Whether you're chasing a personal record or just chasing the good vibes, the Romp Run 5K is the place to be this July. See you on the mountain!
