5k Run/Walk

5K Route - Race begins in YMCA parking lot. - Exit parking lot and turn left - At corner of Hargrave and West 3rd Ave turn left - At corner of Hargrave and West 4th Ave turn right - Run down West 4th Ave - At corner of West 4th Ave and Park Street turn right - Run to top of hill at Park Street - At corner of Park and West 3rd Ave turn left - Run down West 3rd avenue until you get to Williams Street, turn right onto Williams Street - Run down Williams Street and cross over at Center Street intersection, continue on Williams street past Breeden Insurance - At Williams Street/Williams Circle/West 2nd St turn left onto Williams Circle - Follow Williams Circle to Chestnut Street – turn left onto Chestnut Street - Follow Chestnut Street into Grimes Park – turn right onto the track at Grimes and complete one lap around the park - On the Westover side of the park, exit the park and turn right onto Westover - Follow the Westover circle all the way around, at the mailbox on the traffic island turn back to the left to complete the circle - Follow Westover back into park, and turn right back onto track - At Chestnut Street entrance to park, turn right and go back up Chestnut Street and turn right at top onto Williams Circle - At Williams Street/Williams Circle/West 2nd St intersection, turn right back onto Williams Street - Cross over Center Street back onto Williams street past Mountcastle Insurance - Follow Williams Street back to West 3rd Avenue & turn left onto West 3rd Avenue - Follow West 3rd Avenue past FBC, all the way back to the Y, turn right back into the parking lot entrance & continue to cross the finish line.
