Hawkins Hustle

The Hawkins Hustle is a 5k run/walk and kids fun run (ages 10 & under) in memory of Coach Vern Hawkins. The proceeds of this event go to the Coach Hawkins Scholarship Fund, which awards monetary scholarships to graduating seniors from Georgetown High School who competed in cross country and/or track & field. Scholarship recipients are selected by a committee comprised of Coach's former athletes.

Date & Time:  Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 8:00 AM
Location:  Brown County Fairgrounds
Address:  325 West State Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121

Check-in and day-of registration will begin at 7:00 AM.

Kids Fun Run for ages 10 and under following the 5k (approximately 9:00am). Fun Run distance is one lap around the main show ring.

Race categories: male, female, run, walk
Age groups:  10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

T-shirts are in limited supply on race day and may not be available to those who fail to pre-register by 8/1/2025.
