Hayden Sprint Triathlon
Standard registration for individual participants
Hayden Sprint Triathlon **ATHENA**
"What is Athena?" All registration options for the Hayden Triathlon are for the same course. The difference comes in "categorization" of racers, and who they will be racing against time-wise if their goal is to be on the podium. Female athletes who opt for the "Athena" category are electing to run against any female athlete weighing greater than 165 pounds, who has also opted for that category. Otherwise, in the standard race option, they will simply be "competing" against other women in their particular age group. Complete voluntary, and based on individual choice.
Hayden Sprint Triathlon **CLYDESDALE**
"What is Clydesdale?" All registration options for the Hayden Triathlon are for the same course. The difference comes in "categorization" of racers, and who they will be racing against time-wise if their goal is to be on the podium. Male athletes who opt for the "Clydesdale" category are electing to run against any male athlete weighing greater than 220 pounds, who has also opted for that category. Otherwise, in the standard race option, they will simply be "competing" against other men in their particular age group. Complete voluntary, and based on individual choice.
Hayden Sprint Triathlon **RELAY TEAM**
Relay teams can consist of either two or three persons.
Hayden Sprint Triathlon **TEAM HOYT**
"What is Team Hoyt?" All registration options for the Hayden Triathlon are for the same course. The difference comes in "categorization" of racers, and who they will be racing against time-wise if their goal is to be on the podium. "Team Hoyt" is an organization that works to build self-confidence and inclusion. As a separate class, Team Hoyt is for relay teams that focus on taking a person with disabilities through the event. Team Hoyt will be a separate medal category, and will have its own start time as the last wave. Athletes interested in participating with Team Hoyt, please contact: teamhoytcda@gmail.com
