17 Mile Graveyard Run
Do you have what it takes to complete the Headless Horseman GRAVEYARD Challenge this October? You’ll play the part of Ichabod Crane as you run for your life away from the horrible Headless Horseman. The chase/course will include 5 of Howell’s most prominent cemeteries through Marion Township, City of Howell, and Oceola Township, equaling 17 total miles. Participants will not run the literal route between the cemeteries but are encouraged to chip away at the 17 mile total during the two week event by running, walking, biking, etc. A link will be sent out to participants to log progress through Runsignup and fun additional challenges will be included. Deadline to register is Thursday, Oct 1. For this program all shirts will be shipped to the participant unless the “pick up” option is selected during registration. T-shirt pick up will be at the Bennett Rec Center at 925 W Grand River, Howell on Oct 16 from 4-8pm. Shipped shirts will also be sent out Oct 16.
