Healthy Selfie 5K Your Way!

Get your steps in and smile on! 

Healthy Selfie 5K Your Way has both a virtual and in-person option, so you can crush 3.1 miles in your own way, on your own time, or with a community group! Register for one, or both (must register twice separately) if you want double the 5K fun! 

In-Person 5K Option:

Want to complete your 3.1 miles in-person with an awesome group? Join us on September 13 at 8:30am at Orange Technical College - West Campus to walk, run, or bike a 5K on the West Orange Trail as a community. All ages, strollers, and even pups are welcome!

In-Person 5K Schedule:

7:30am – Sign-in begins

8:15am – Warm-ups

8:30am – Ready, set, GO!

Virtual 5K Option:

Here’s how a virtual 5K works: register first, then complete 3.1 miles at your own pace, wherever you like, whenever you like from September 1-30. Bike the West Orange Trail, hike at Oakland Nature Preserve, rollerblade around your neighborhood, it all counts. If you want to break it up into smaller segments, go for it! 

No need to submit your miles – we go by the honor system and are just here to encourage you to get moving. We always love when folks send in their finish line photos when they complete their 5K virtually! In-Person 5K T-shirts and Medals:

Our 5K T-shirt distribution will be first come, first served when registering. When registering, please select your preferred T-shirt size. The size choices on the page when registering are the sizes available that are remaining. Registering earlier means a better chance of getting your preferred size! Once the quantities are out, they are out. Participants who have registered for their T-shirt size will receive them at Check-In on race day. If you DO NOT want a T-shirt, please select “None” when registering to leave more for those who want them. Medals are now reserved for in-person 5K participants only. Medals will be distributed to participants at the Finish Line on 5K day!

Virtual 5K T-shirts:

Once the quantities are out, they are out. We are unfortunately unable to guarantee new medals to virtual participants, however assorted medals from year’s past will be available at pickup.

Virtual 5K Pickup Information:

Thursday, October 2 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Healthy West Orange Building at 1200 E Plant Street, Winter Garden.
