About this race
Solvita and Life Connection of Ohio are proud to present the 13th annual Hero Hustle 5K Run/Walk! The mission of the Hero Hustle 5K is to strengthen support, education and recognition of organ, eye and tissue donation in northwest Ohio. 5K Run/Walk and Virtual Run registrants will receive a fleece full-zip sweatshirt for adults or a fleece 1/4-zip pullover sweatshirt for youth (while supplies last). 5K Run/Walk participants in attendance on November 7 will receive a gorgeous finisher medal (while supplies last)! Virtual participants: If supply allows, finisher medals may be available for pick up by special request after the race. The Kids' Run and K9 Hero Kit registrants will receive special giveaways (while supplies last). Follow on Facebook for pictures and details!
Packet Pickup
Pre-race day packet pickup is tentatively scheduled for the following location, dates and times: Life Connection of Ohio, 480 W. Dussel Drive, Maumee, OH 43537. Enter only on Ford Street! It will be drive though style, so follow signs.
Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
Wednesday, November 4, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
Race-day packet pickup: Saturday, November 7, from 7:30 AM - 9 AM at Dana World Headquarters Campus in Maumee (3939 Technology Drive, Maumee, OH).
Watch the race registration page, email and/or Facebook for more details. Virtual Run participants have an option to select shipping or packet pickup when they register.
Join fellow runners on May 16, 2026 for the Hero Hustle 5K. It's a fantastic 5K, 0.8K featuring a flat and fast course in Maumee.

Hero Hustle 5K
Registrants will receive an adult sized fleece full-zip sweatshirt or youth sized fleece 1/4-zip pullover sweatshirt (while supplies last). 5K Run/Walk participants in attendance on November 7 will receive a gorgeous finisher medal (while supplies last)! Follow on Facebook for pictures and details! Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in 13 age categories for males and females, including medals for overall and masters. Remember to dress in your favorite hero costume or blue and green gear.
Virtual Run
This event can be done at your leisure on November 7. Registrants will receive an adult sized fleece full-zip sweatshirt or youth sized fleece 1/4-zip pullover sweatshirt (while supplies last). If supply allows, finisher medals may be available for pickup by special request after the race. For virtual participants, you can choose to pick up your items at the drive-thru packet pickup prior to race day, OR you can select shipping for an additional fee.
Kids' Run
We would never want to leave out our little heroes, ages 12 and under! Registrants will receive a special giveaway (while supplies last). Remember to dress in your favorite hero costume or blue and green gear.
K9 Hero Kit
Take your canine friend with you on your run/walk! Furry friends will receive a special giveaway (while supplies last).
