About this race

Welcome to the most colorful run of the year and the finale of the Skedaddle Running event series! For the 6th iteration of the High Five For Teachers, we're bringing powdered cannons, powder packs, sunglasses, and the most elaborate run Skedaddle has pulled off! With a 1K, 5K, and 10K course, be prepared to get your beautiful white gear covered in a rainbow of hues!
Have you ever had a teacher who made a huge impact on you? A teacher in Stockton, California, created The High Five. It began in distance learning, a time when all teachers were experiencing extreme levels of mental fatigue and burnout. Isaiah Stowers.

The High Five for Teachers is a 5K and 10K for those that wish to recognize the incredible hard work that teachers have put forth to foster us all into the people we are today.

The Kiddos 1K

A loop that is a little more than half a mile! This event is for any young participants who wish to participate and enjoy the seeing the miles of their hard work! This can be walked or run by any participant age 12 and under by the start of the event. This course is a little smaller and will be a loop around the park Participants will NOT receive a medal and shirt, but will receive a bib.
