About this race
Location - Rock Cut State Park
Choose to do a single events or pick the challenging Triple Crown all three races 85k or the Triple Crown "Lite" 60k with the 10k on Friday evening then a 25k Sat. & Sun. Friday Nite's 10k is an evening trail race. Bring running lights, headlamps, flashlights, etc. Trail will be marked with signage, glow sticks. and reflective markers. This is a trail race in the dark the park closes at 10:00 pm all runners must be finished by 9:30 in order to leave park before closing. Note we did say that the 10k is a trail race run in the dark on trails be sure you have practiced running on trails in the dark so you know what you are setting out to do.
10k will start near the boat launch in Rock Cut State Park, Friday Sept. 11, - 7:00pm start - Runners must be finished by 9:30 in order to be out of the park by 10:00 - gates are locked.
25k will start and finish at Red Oak picnic area, Saturday Sept. 12, - 8:00am start - Course is supported for 5 hours on Saturday. Doing your first 25k? The course on Sunday is supported for 8 hours .
50k & 25k will start and finish at the Red Oak picnic area, Sunday Sept. 13, - 8:00am start - Course is supported for 8 hours.
Triple Crown Award for those who run all three races "85k" each will receive a Hobo Railroad Spike Award. Triple Crown finishers will also receive special additional swag.
Triple Crown "Lite" Award for those who run all three races "60k" - will receive a Hobo Railroad Spike Award. Triple Crown "Lite" finishers will receive a special additional swag.

Note: 25k course will be supported for 5 hours on Saturday (approximate 19+/minute per mile pace), 50k/25k on course on Sunday will be supported for 8 hours (50k = 15+/minute per mile - 25k=30+/minute per mile pace.)
NOTE: NO Swag Option - The no swag options means you will NOT receive a short or long sleeve shirt, hoodie or other offered swag items for any race(s). This option is offered as a number of runners have asked for this option. You will be eligible for race awards.

This option signs you up for all 3 races 10k Friday evening Sept.8, 25k Saturday Sept. 9 & 50k Sunday Sept. 10. All FINISHERS of the Triple Crown will receive a special 3 spike award as well as special swag noting your achievement. Note this swag is reserved and earned only those who finish all three events will receive. Awards: Hobo Railroad Spikes to Overall Male/Female & Top 3 each age group awards will be given out as race progresses please check before you leave to see if you were an age group winner. Hobo Stew at finish (bring a can to add to the stew), bring your favorite treat to share with all (cookies, brownies, etc.) on Sat. & Sun. This is an evening trail race. Bring your running lights, headlamps, or flashlights, trail will be marked with signage, reflective tape & glow sticks. Note: We recommend that you practice some trail running in the dark prior to running this race. Race starts @ 7:00pm - all runners must finish by 9:30pm - the park closes at 10:00pm and gates are locked no exceptions. Guaranteed Shirts only if registered by 8/30/2017 Registration/Packet Pickup: 5:00-6:30pm - Friday 9/8- Rock Cut State Park - Lone Rock Cafe Awards: Hobo Railroad Spikes to Overall Male/Female and Top 3 each age group Pizza party immediately following race.
NO Swag 10k Option - Rock Cut Coyote Howl "Nite" 10k Trail Run
This no-swag option is available for each of the Hobo Races. Runners have requested a reduced fee option where they would not receive any shirt but just race for awards. You will NOT receive a shirt or other swag if you sign up for this option! This is an evening trail race. Bring your running lights, headlamps, or flashlights, trail will be marked with signage, reflective tape & glow sticks. Race starts @ 7:00pm - all runners must finish by 9:30pm - the park closes at 10:00pm and gates are locked no exceptions. Triple Crown "Lite" 10k/25k/25k (3 races) Only Option Still Available to Sign Up is NO SWAG
Triple Crown Lite - 60k This option signs you up for 3 races 10k Friday evening Sept. 8, 25k Saturday Sept. 9 & 25k Sunday Sept. 10. All FINISHERS of the Triple Crown "Lite" will receive a spike award as well as a sweatshirt noting your achievement. Note: Those who enter but do not finish all three events will NOT receive the hoodie lite sweatshirt, this is earned and only awarded to those who signup for and complete all of the 60k. 25k Starts & Finishes: Saturday - West Lake Picnic are and Sunday the Red Oak picnic area of the park. Start time: 8:00am Note that the 25k course on Saturday will be supported for 5 hours (19+/minute per mile pace). If you need more time to complete the 25k choose the Sunday option, course on Sunday with the 50k is supported for 8 hours. Awards: Hobo Railroad Spikes to Overall Male/Female and Top 3 each age group Awards will be given out as race progresses please check before you leave to see if you were an age group winner.
