🏃♂️ Home Run 5K: Step Up for Foster Children & Families! 🏃♀️
Hosted by River Valley Runners
Join us for the Home Run 5K, a community run dedicated to bringing hope, encouragement, and support to foster and adoptive children and families right here in Pope County! Every step taken helps strengthen families and support children in need in our local community.

📦 Donation Drive: How You Can Help!
Joseph's House provides essential programs, clothing shops, and support to show God’s love to foster and adoptive families. In addition to participating in the run, we encourage all runners and spectators to bring donation items to race morning.
We will be collecting:
• Personal Care: Hygiene products
• Apparel: Socks and underwear (new)
• Bags & Comfort: Backpacks, totes, blankets, and comfort items
• Activities & Snacks: Books, small entertainment items, and packaged snacks

Joseph's House exists to provide support, encouragement, and hope to foster and adoptive parents and children in Pope County through tailored programs, activities, and educational opportunities. By promoting hope in and for the family, their goal is to help build better families across our community.

Age Group Categories: 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. We will recognize the first, second and third overall male and female as well as first master's overall male and female. Overall winners will receive a cash prize and will be ineligible in age group categories. Finisher's medals will be available to all children under 14 (and as requested by adults as supplies last)
Fun Run
We will recognize first overall winner in the Fun Run. This will be an untimed event. Finisher's medals will be available to all children under 14 (and as requested by adults as supplies last)
5k Virtual Race
Submit your time (and photos, optional) electronically on our Facebook page to participate if you cannot make the event in person. www.facebook.com/HomeRun5k If you prefer to submit your time by email you can send it to methodisthomerun@gmail.com. Times will be due by 10:00am on 6/7/25.
