Hometown Heroes 5k
About the Event
Lace up your sneakers and get ready for the 1st Annual Hometown Heroes 5K Run/Walk road race! Every dollar raised from the 5K goes directly to the Elk Mills-Poga Volunteer Fire Department to support our local heroes. Every participant will receive an official race t-shirt, full entry into the 3rd Annual First Responder Ribfest immediately following the race, and a delicious BBQ lunch to refuel after crossing the finish line. Don’t miss your chance to be part of a fantastic race and the biggest barbecue festival in the region. We look forward to seeing you at the start line on September 5th!
