Hop Skip and Splash 5K Fun Run/Walk

Join us on Sunday, October 25, 2026, for the 4th annual Hop, Skip & Splash 5K — a fun, family-friendly beachside fundraiser benefiting swim lessons and water safety education for children throughout Orange County and beyond.

Your $50 registration covers swim lessons for one child. This is the average cost of 4-8 classes at a local city or county pool. Whether you run, walk, or skip across the finish line, your participation helps save lives by supporting families who lack access to these life-saving resources!

Race Details: 

• Location: Beach parking lot located at PCH and Huntington Street
• Check-in opens at 8:00 (coffee available!)
• Race starts at 9:00 
• Scenic coastal course with ocean views
• Event T-shirt included with registration 
• All ages and fitness levels welcome
• Stroller-friendly course
• Dogs welcome on the boardwalk (not on the sand)
• This is not a timed race, but 1st-3rd place finishers will receive a prize! 

Post Race Activities

• Free pancake breakfast from Huntington Beach Firefighters
• Live music from Crew-52, our local HB Lifeguard Band
• Fun activities for kids
• Raffles
• Vendor Village
• Meet real Olympians!

Team Registration: Get $10 off when you grab your friends, family and/or coworkers- it's more fun together! 

• Teams include 2 or more participants
• Create or join a team during registration
• The first team member to register will be reimbursed once another member joins
• Great for schools, businesses and community groups! 

Virtual Runners: Can't make it in person? You can still be part of the impact! 

• Complete your 5k wherever you are
• Optional event T-shirt with shipping available
• Run, Walk or skip on your own time while supporting water safety!

• Enter via PCH and Beach Blvd
• Parking is paid in city lots
