Timed Hope Continues 5K
The 2020 Hope Continues 5K Run is the fourth year of an annual event that replaces the prior Tupelo Breast Cancer Awareness Run. 100% of the proceeds will stay in the sixteen counties of Northeast Mississippi. Funds will be used to provide screening and support for affected individuals. Last year we were able to raise $50,000 dollars through the race, sponsors, and donations. Let's beat that amount this year! Also this year we have an all new race course! The new course is easier with the start and finish remaining in the same location in down town Tupelo. Awards will be given for timed participants in the 5K only. Equal awards for female and male runners. Top (3) Overall Male and Female, Top Over-All Masters and Grandmasters. Three deep in the following age groups: 0-9, 10-14,15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. Entry fees are $25 for the 5K until September 20, 2020. The fees go up to $30 for the 5K until October 30, 2020. Race day registration will be available at $35 for the 5K. . Hope Continues Phantom Runner T-shirt Only
Due to Covid-19 this year we are offering a virtual option. Sign up, get a t-shirt, and then go run when and where you feel safe knowing that your money goes to a great cause! Their are no awards and you are not required to submit your run. Must be registered by October 16, 2020 and the cost is $15 T-shirt pickup will be held at Core Cycle & Outdoor on October 30 from 2p.m. till 7 p.m. Core is located at 1697 N. Coley Rd. Hope Continues 1 Mile walk
The 1 mile walk just got even better. The new course allows for all of the walkers to also see the runners as they complete the course. The walk is now an out and back course and perfectly flat. Come out and lets honor and remember the special people in our lives affected by breast cancer. Entry fees for the 1 mile walk are $15 for the 1 Mile Walk until September 20, 2020. The fees go up to $20 for the 1 Mile Walk until October 30, 2020. Race day registration will be available at $25 for the 1 Mile Walk.
