About the Event

The Hopkins Raspberry Run was founded in 1964 by the Twin Cities Track Club founder Patrick Lanin. Today, the 5-mile follows the same traditional route around Shady Oak Lake before finishing on Main Street prior to the Hopkins Raspberry Festival parade. The Main Street Mile was introduced in 2010 and features a flat, fast course straight down Main Street with a shared finish for the 5-mile.

Join fellow runners on July 19, 2026 for the Hopkins Raspberry Run. It's a fantastic 8K, 1.6K featuring a flat and fast course in Hopkins.

Raspberry Run - 5 Mile

The Course follows the traditional route around Shady Oak Lake before finishing on Main Street where you'll be greeted by thousands of cheering supporters on the parade route for the Hopkins Raspberry Festival. The course cut off for the 5 mile race is 12:30!!! You will be asked to step off the course if you are not done by 12:30. Please pace yourself accordingly. The 5 mile race starts on Main Street between 13th Ave and 14th Ave.

Raspberry Run - 1 Mile Open

Flat, fast course straight down Main Street with a shared finish for the 5-Mile. Scholarships are available for youth 18 & under to run for FREE. The start line for the mile is at Shady Oak and Main Street. This course is USATF certified. The first wave starts at 12:00 noon and is only for those participating in the USATF MN Race Circuit. The second wave starts at 12:10pm and is for everyone racing that is not a part of a USATF team.
