Horse Capital Marathon
Marathon will be a quasi-double loop course on rolling, scenic country roads, passing some 40+ horse farms. Pace limit of 14 minutes, 30 seconds per mile (6 hour, 15 minute total time) Marathon course will be officially certified.
Horse Capital Half Marathon
Single loop course on rolling, scenic country roads. Walkers welcomed but must finish in 6 hours 15 minutes.
Volunteer
Our race will require the time, energy and enthusiasm of many volunteers. Our primary need for volunteers is on Saturday, May 16th (Race Day) with most shifts running from 5:30am to 11:30am. We also have a need for some volunteers to work at our Expo/Packet pickup on Friday, May 15th. We have two shifts to cover this day (11:30am-3:30pm and 3:30pm-7:30pm). Please register yourself as a volunteer here, answer the questions at the end about when you are available and if you are working on behalf of a group or non-profit charity. Our volunteer team will be in touch with each of you to give you details about your volunteer role (when/where to report, what you'll be doing, etc.... THANKS FOR HELPING US WITH THE INAUGURAL HORSE CAPITAL MARATHON & HALF MARATHON!
