8 Mile Trail Race
2017 is the "Year of the Reverse". The 8 Mile Trail race will run in the opposite direction from past years. Please note, there is a 2 hour time limit for this race. If you cannot maintain a 12 minute pace on flat roads, you will have difficulty finishing this trail race in under 2 hours, please consider entering the 5K instead. MINIMUM AGE OF 15 YEARS FOR THIS TRAIL RUN. 8 Mile Awards: Cash and Trophy for top 3 Males and top 3 Females, plus gender-specific age groups 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
5K
The 5K is held primarily on a multi-use path on flat railroad beds. 5K Awards: Top 3 Male, Top 3 Female, Gender Specific Age Groups: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
5K Kids 13 & under
The 5K is held primarily on a multi-use path on flat railroad beds. No shirt or raffle for discounted age 13 & under entrants. 5K Awards: Top 3 Male, Top 3 Female, Gender Specific Age Groups: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
