About this race
Welcome to the 4th Annual Hudson Valley Hawks 5K! 🏃♀️🏃♂️
Kick off the holiday season with us for a festive, chip-timed 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run benefiting the Hudson Valley Hawks 12U Black Team as they raise funds for their trip to the Cooperstown Dreams Park Experience in August 2026!
The 5K will begin and end at L. Vern Allen Park in Washingtonville, with medals awarded to race winners. Participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite festive attire and run, walk, or jingle their way into the holiday season!
The Fun Run will begin at approximately 11:00 AM and will be a 100-yard dash. Prizes will be awarded to all Fun Run participants!
Register by November 1st to receive a race T-shirt!
Race Day Registration & Bib Pickup: Begins at 9:00 AM at L. Vern Allen Park.
Come out, have some holiday fun, and help support the Hudson Valley Hawks on their road to Cooperstown!

The race will begin at Vern Allen and runners will proceed on Ahern Blvd towards Woodfield Park, making a loop on Highgrove and Hopkins, before returning to Vern Allen via Ahern Blvd. Medals Awarded by Age Group: Under 10 10-12 13-15 16-19 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60-69 70-75 76+
Kids Fun Run 100 yard dash (10 and Under)
Prizes will be awarded to all participants.
