Huey P. Long Bridge Run
About the Event
Since 2013, The Great Huey P. Long Bridge Run has celebrated the majestic views provided by a historic bridge. The Huey P. Long Bridge was established in 1935 and revised in 2013 with a well-received widening project.
Each year, the bridge is closed to vehicle traffic on a Saturday morning allowing runners to enjoy a professional and safe race experience while they #GeauxOverIt. It's a challenge worth celebrating as runners enjoy live music, great Louisiana food and cold Abita beer after crossing the finish line.
Join fellow runners on May 9, 2026 for the Huey P. Long Bridge Run. It's a fantastic 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Bridge City.
