About this race
Join us in our 4th Annual I Run for Ronald McDonald House® 5k on Saturday, May 16th 2026!
By signing up for the 5k you are pledging to run/walk/bike 3.1 miles in support of Ronald McDonald House®! All proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House® of Western Washington and Alaska and the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation.
Ronald McDonald House® is a philanthropic organization that provides support, food, services, and a place to stay for families whose children are in the hospital. As a chapter, we are passionate about and dedicated to supporting Ronald McDonald House®.
In past years, as Covid-19 changed the direction of our usual philanthropic efforts, we hosted our first ever virtual 5k. I Run for Ronald McDonald House® took place on May 18th, 2021 and had OVER 200 participants. Participants gathered all over the U.S. and walked, ran, and skipped in support of Ronald McDonald House®. We raised over $18,000 in 2021 and over $25,000 in 2025 and all proceeds went to Ronald McDonald House®!

This year, we are SO pumped to be hosting our 4th Annual I Run for Ronald McDonald House® 5k! We are excited to be able to host it in person with the starting location at The Quad on the University of Washington campus where we will hand out shirts to the first 300 participants to sign in. The 5k will begin at 10:00 am and will go until 1:00 pm. Please aim to arrive by 9:45 AM to check in.
