About the Event

The 15th Annual InFirst Bank Veteran's Marathon, Half Marathon, and Marathon Relay races will be held on the beautiful Ghost Town Trail near Indiana, Pennsylvania on Sunday, November 1, 2026. The marathon is a certified Boston qualifier. All proceeds from the race go to support veterans in Western Pennsylvania through the Western Pennsylvania Veterans Relief Fund, a 501c3. Monies from the race will be used to support the needs of veterans in our communities. The race is hosted by the Indiana Road Runners Club.

While we cannot predict the guidelines and protocols that will be in effect or necessary at the time of the race, please know that we will abide by local and state regulations and are committed to providing racers, spectators and volunteers with a safe event.

Join fellow runners on November 1, 2026 for the InFirst Bank Veteran's Marathon, Half Marathon, and Marathon Relay. It's a fantastic Marathon, Half-Marathon featuring a flat and fast course in Blairsville.

Boston Marathon Qualifier Out and bank on a rails to trails Approximately 2% grade uphill on way out, and 2% grade downhill on the way back Nine stocked aid stations on the course Early start permitted --(will not be eligible for overall awards) please contact race directors at veteransmarathon@outlook.com if you would like to use the early start option, There is a 7 hour cutoff time limit or 4:00pm finish if you start early, you must also be at the Dilltown halfway point in 3-1/2 hours or by 12:30pm or you will be not allowed to continue the race. Four person relay teams in male, female and co-ed divisions Course is an out and back on rails to trails Approximately 2% grade uphill on the way out; 2% downhill on the way back Relay legs average a little over 6 miles apiece Easy access to relay exchange zones Maps and driving directions to relay exchange points will be available at packet pick-up. There is a 7 hour cutoff time limit or 4:00pm finish if you start early, you must also be at the Dilltown halfway point in 3-1/2 hours or by 12:30pm or you will be not allowed to continue the race. Hosted by the Indiana Road Runners Club.
