Lace up and dream big at the 2026 Irvine Dream Run! 🎉 Join us at the Great Park in Irvine for this can’t-miss, family-friendly race kicking off beneath the iconic Great Park Balloon. Choose a 5K, a 3K, or double the fun and run both—either way, you’re in for an unforgettable morning!
Every registration includes a race shirt, finisher medal, finish-line photo, and full access to our post-race expo, music, food trucks, vendor booths, and plenty more to keep the celebration going.

Irvine Tech Week 5K Fun Run
After an exciting week of exploring the tech ecosystem at Irvine Tech Week, what better way to wind down than a run in the park? Come celebrate Irvine Tech Week at the inaugural Irvine Tech Week 5k! Everyone, from tech week participants to the general public, can participate. We are excited to host this annual event to benefit the charitable Sunstone Community Fund, which supports a network of universities, nonprofit organizations, and public-private partnerships that develop and implement university-based entrepreneurship programs, early-stage tech accelerators, and advance local economic development through inclusive entrepreneurship and innovation. All proceeds go to the Sunstone Community Fund, directly supporting startup and entrepreneurship in the City of Irvine. Race shirt, medal, finish line photo, finish line video, and access to the post-race expo area, are included with registration. Register before April 5th, 2024 to guarantee your shirt size!
3K FirstGen Color Fun Run
The FirstGen Color Run celebrates the Irvine Dream. Irvine is the youngest city in California and is home to many first-generation immigrants, transplants from elsewhere in California and the United States and others who believe in the American Dream. Run or walk this 3k fun run - families welcome! - and celebrate the rich tapestry of cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives that contribute to the success of the City of Irvine. The Standard Package includes a race shirt, medal, finish line photo, finish line video and access to the post-race expo area.
3K FirstGen Color Run (Start Up Package)
The FirstGen Color Run Startup Package includes all of the items in the Standard Package plus sunglasses and a commemorative headband!
Virtual 5K
Do not worry if you cannot make this event in person. Feel free to participate anywhere in the world and be apart of this awesome event. You can upload your results for the virtual run starting April 15th through April 20th. This package does not include a race t-shirt or any race swag.
