Jack Roberts Memorial 5K
About the Event
This is a 5K Run/Walk in Leitersburg, Maryland, in conjunction with the Leitersburg Ruritan Peach Festival. It starts and ends at the Leitersburg Ruritan Park. All proceeds after expenses go to the Jack Roberts Field of Interest Fund at the Community Foundation of Washington County, Md (this fund is to support initiatives regarding adolescent and young adult mental health and suicide prevention) and the Leitersburg Ruritan Scholarship Fund. Packet Pickup may occur Saturday August 8 9-5 at the Peach Festival Hospitality Tent (adjacent to the main pavilion at the Ruritan Park) or starting at 6:30 am on Race Day, in the Community Center Gymnasium. Online registration closes 8/7/2026 at 9:00 pm. Participants may still register in person Saturday August 8th 9-5 or starting at 630 am on race day. Race day registration will be completed in the Gymnasium.

Come join us for a run/walk through the rolling hills of Leitersburg, Md. This out and back course features rolling hills and great scenery. A water station is available at approximately the 1/2 way point. Race medal for all finishers, t-shirt guaranteed to all who sign up before August 1st. Trophies for top 3 male and female finishers. Snacks and drinks available for all participants. Continuing this year: 1 FREE KONA ICE FOR EACH PARTICIPANT !!
