About this race
The Lakefest Mike Hill 10k began in 1976. Mike Hill, HK Cooper, and Bill Magruder wanted a race included in the bicentennial celebration. Mike encouraged businesses and people throughout the community to get involved in the race. It was known as the Lakefest 10k until Mike's untimely passing in 2007. The race was then changed to the Lakefest Mike Hill 10k. Since then, a 5k has been added.

The race starts at 7:30 AM CST. Packet pick-up will be available on Friday, July 3rd from 6-8 PM CST at the Jamestown Christian Church Levee just past the courthouse in Jamestown.
