Participants who are not able to join us in person may run the 13.1 distance on their own and submit their results, either on Saturday 10/1 or on Sunday morning 10/2

Jersey Shore Half Marathon

There is a strict three hour course limit. We must prohibit strollers, head phones, dogs and runners in costumes in the race. Head phones are prohibited as the course is 2 loops and runners may not hear directions from race staff. Strollers and dogs at a race may be a hazard to runners, children and spectators. Also we discourage runners in costumes as this is a hazard to other runners and a safety issue. We appreciate your compliance and ask for your cooperation! As the race unfolds, we ask you to stay to your right and leave the center of the roadway clear as participants will be running in both directions. Thanks to our partners at the Gateway National Recreation Area, the roads of the USATF certified course are closed to traffic during the race.

10-14 week training program focused on half marathon training Half Marathon training programs includes: Initial phone consultation once registered to set up training. Weekly email with individualized training program for the week. One in person training session. Individualized race plan established prior to the event. Coach Joe is more than happy to tailor your training needs, including additional training packages or services through his coaching program for additional fees. Benefit from an individualized 5K training plan. Set a goal, work hard and succeed with some support! Coach Joe, retired Monmouth University XC and T&F coach, is here to serve all ages and abilities! Coach Joe is also an Experienced Coach and Program Director with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry.
