About this race

This race is in memory in of Jim Wildt who was lifetime resident of Litchfield.  He taught and coached for over 30 years at Litchfield Community Schools.  He loved running and he loved this community.

This year we are returning to the original roads where Coach Wildt ran himself and built his teams.  The very practice loop we all know by heart beginning and ending in the parking lot by the football field and concession stand.

Each pre-registered runner will receive a t-shirt & awards will be given to the top female & male performers of each age group.

12 & Under, 13-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over

Join fellow runners on August 15, 2026 for the Jim Wildt Memorial 5K Run/Walk. It's a fantastic 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Litchfield.
