Jingle Jog 5K
About the Event
The Jingle Jog 5K and Santa Strut has been a Triad holiday tradition since it began in 2015. Originating in High Point, the race has now relocated to Winston-Salem, and we are bringing ALL the fun on this festive holiday run!
The 5K race will begin at Fiddlin' Fish Brewing, continuing along Long Branch paved trail, and returning along the Research Parkway corridor on the edge of downtown. The (untimed) Santa Strut will be a one loop course (0.7 miles) where family, friends, and pups can strut their stuff!
The post-race celebrations for BOTH events are at Fiddlin' Fish Brewing, just a quick walk from the start/finish line.
Participants in the 5K enjoy a chip timed event complete with awards for top finishers! You are welcome to run, jog, or walk either distance.
Leashed pets are encouraged to not only come to the event, but also to participate! Your doggo can get their own race bib and treat with a $5 add on at registration. All proceeds from the pooch race bibs go to our event charity partner, Ruff Love Rescue.
Don’t have a pet of your own? Each year, our charity partner works to bring adoptable dogs to the event for participants interested in running with a furry friend! This is available on a first come basis.

Youth 1-Mile Run/Walk (Ages 5–12)The Youth 1-Mile is the perfect way for kids to join the Thanksgiving fun! Designed for young runners and walkers ages 5–12, this course is safe, easy to follow, and full of encouragement along the way. Whether your child is racing for a personal best, jogging with a friend, or enjoying their first official race—this 1-mile event is all about movement, confidence, and fun. Parents are welcome to run or walk alongside their child. What Youth Participants Receive: Race bib (untimed) Finisher award (not medal) Snacks at the finish line Access to the post-race festivities Give your kids a healthy, active start to Thanksgiving morning!
