Johns Hopkins Children's Center Miracles in Motion
About the Event
Join us, Saturday, September 26, 2026, for the third annual Johns Hopkins Children's Center Miracles in Motion 5K and 1-mile walk!
This event is a 5K Run or 1-mile walk, followed by a Critter Crawl Kids Dash, all to benefit the Johns Hopkins Children's Center! Your registration fee includes a cotton t-shirt. Same day zoo admission can be added during registration at a discounted rate of $17 ($33 value). Participants have the opportunity to fundraise for any area of the Children's Center where they feel a personal connection.
- We offer family pricing for a group of four, which includes a discount of 10%.
- If you are running the 5K or 1-mile, your child is welcome on the race course with you, but they must be registered for the Critter Crawl to participate and receive a t-shirt and participation medal.
- Same-day registration for all events will be available.

Races Offered
Running
5K Run
Register for the Miracles in Motion 5K run. If you are running the 5K, your child is welcome on the race course with you and a stroller. If you're running with a stroller, please line up in the LAST RACE WAVE. Be aware that the race course has varied surfaces and we recommend a jogging stroller that can easily push over a variety of terrain. Children ages 2-12 must be registered separately in the Critter Crawl event to participate and receive a youth-size t-shirt and medal. Same-day registration for all events will be available. The 5K race is professionally timed by Mettle Timing Company. If you're looking to create a fundraising team, you can do so at the end of the registration process!
Virtual 5K or 1-Mile Walk with T-shirt
Register to be a virtual participant with t-shirt. If you're looking to create a fundraising team, you can do so at the end of the registration process! Your t-shirt will be mailed to you after the event on 9/26/26.
Free Virtual 5K or 1-Mile Walk (NO T-SHIRT)

Walking
1-Mile Walk
Register for the Miracles in Motion 1-Mile walk. If you are walking the 1-mile, your child is welcome on the race course with you and a stroller.
